Windows Server 2008!??!?!

I want a dvd of windows server 2008 rc0. What is a link to order it? I can only find places to download it, and i want a dvd of it. :confused:
 
Looking for you now. You're right though - hard to find. What about calling MS directly to order?
 
nah, im 13 and im gonna start collecting things like this. In ten years, it will be nice to look back at a release candidate of an old server program. just please find it :confused:
 
Well, every site I checked out has download links only. Most of them mention you can purchase a DVD, but give no info on how/where to purchase it. Again, I think calling MS would be the easiest. Maybe someone else will have more luck finding an order-link. Sorry :(
 
Why don't you just download it then burn the image to a DVD and store it? After all you need to put it on a DVD in order to install it.

Can you explain to me why you can't just download it? Do you not have a DVD Burner? Do you have a slow internet connection?

Often times when you do order from Microsoft it takes several weeks to receive it, not to mention they usually charge for it.
 
Yes, I have a dvd burner, and i could download it. I have dial-up :mad: (getting dsl in a month) and it will take a loooong time to download. Even if i get high speed internet, I will not want to actually use the dvd. I want to add it to my collection of old operating systems like windows 2x-vista. I need to have the dvd, and am willing to pay for it. Meanwhile, NO ONE is responding to my msdn forum post. http://forums.microsoft.com/msdn/ShowPost.aspx?postid=2457039&siteid=1

Okay, Are there any dvd's that you can purchase of windows server 2008?
I mean release candidates, or betas. So many people talk about how you can get a dvd but i cant get any

Well, not all Forums are as efficient as these when responding to Posts. Maybe the Posters there may only come out at night:confused:

Honestly though, you need to tone down a with bumping. There's not so much activity on these Forums that your Post will be bumped back to the second or third page every 15 minutes. Give some other Posters a chance to respond ;)
 
stop bumping your dumb posts asking for people to help you. do your own damn work. this is nothing mission critical so why are you impatient?. you only want this to dural when you are older. how about doing some growing up now and realisize not everyone is going to spoon feed you answers to your problems. can i say **** here?

Now, lets put them fingers to use and start searching shall we, rather that try and get a whole forum of technical experts to try and find where we could buy a dvd for server 2008.

You seem to be able to post on this fast enought, lets see you get working on search terms!
 
why is there such a rush? :P

its not for sale yet since its not released yet. release candidates are beta versions that will be released if no problems are found. if you want to have a copy of it on dvd, you have to wait until its released. then you can get a 30 day trial on cd or dvd for only the cost of shipping via the microsoft website (its how i got a copy of server 2003)
