I wasn't sure if SiN was a source based game or not, thanks for letting me know.You forgot the "Sin" series, which got my vote. Other than that, Half-Life2 is a classic game just like its prequel, and Portal is definitely a great/short/simple game that is rare. The Half-Life episodes seem to be promising. Episode One was great. I have episode two already, but I'm waiting until I get my new system to play it, since they've implemented more graphical features into it.
Source is the name of the engine used by Valves games. Arguable the greatest game-engine ever, when you consider the detailing and sheer playability of it. Even dudes with less than ideal systems can play these games terrifically.
