I need a computer Built under $400 ......... can it be done

little gaming but not intense graphics, so mayb a 8400,8500?
word processing,
surfing net,
needs to support dual screens,
atleast 2 gbs of ram
good mobo brand,
no opticals needed
300 Gb Hard drive
NEEDS TO SUPPORT VISTA ( dont try talkin me out of it, she wants it)

Yup, a E4600 won't be possible, but still. That's a solid system :)

Hmm... not a real good gamer... I think 2GB is overkill if it's not gonna be used for gaming... after all. I've never even used all of my 1GB yet...
 
well i want this computer to last a long time, plus shes going to use vista, and the OS i have for her , im going to zombie parts from her old computer , just the power supply and opticals , so im good there ") thanks again !

Get another MB. the chipset of the MB is outdated. No room for upgrade in future.
Open Box: MSI P31 Neo-F LGA 775 Intel P31 ATX Intel Motherboard
And get a seagate/ WD SATA HDD

Where is your PSU?

The ADTA Extreme 2x1GB RAM DDR2 800 RAM is now $27 after rebate, no point to get 1 GB then.
