Washrag New Member Nov 30, 2007 #1 I have an integrated (into the MB) ethernet adapter and am going to upgrade to a dedicated PCI. When I replace it, should I delete the drivers for the current adapter and then install the new one, loading up the new drivers after I boot up?

apj101 VIP Member Nov 30, 2007 #2 there is no need to remove the old drivers, just install the new ones and you good to go
tlarkin VIP Member Dec 1, 2007 #3 if you don't need dual NICs you could always disable that on board NIC in the BIOS, then it won't even show up in windows.
