I need a new card

Hey all, i need a new graphic card to replace my X850XT PCI-E. I plan on playing Tabula Rasa but i want to be able to turn the graphics up a little, i only have about 180 dollars to spend so any pointers would be great. And i'm in Canada, so i cannot use newegg :(.
 
After reading a bunch of reviews and posts in the forum (go CF!) I would say the two better cards for the price are either the 8800GT (better FPS) or the HD3870 (better picture)... I think. LOL
 
how does the 3850 compare to a 7800gt? =D

worth an upgrade for me or not? probably UT3 and GOW are going to be games that i'll play.

vista isn't all that from what i've heard... and my system is in my spec, its actually quite good .. a much better system than yours in your signature.

the processor is overclocked a whole bunch, its not the stock e6300...

and the system memory is overclocked a bunch as well, 24/7 stable...

i plan to have vista soon, though i dont see the change from XP to Vista having a marginal effect on the performance of the graphics card, just the quality of the graphics (DX10)

does anyone have any benchmarks of the before mentioned video card? (3850)
 
posting back to let you all know i bought a used geforce 8800GTS for $200 + my X850XT, its $389.99 retail so i think i faired decently
