Geforce 7600 or 8400/8500 advice

They are both low-ish end, but i think the 7600 seems better? As some might see i have a problem with my first build but i think i have every part sorted apart from the gfx, if there are any better chea-ish cards than these, please let me know.
I will buy a good card in future when sorted.
But for now shall i get the 7600? There are loads of cheap ones on ebay (yes, not new, or a good idea, but only for the gfx card) But the 8400 are cheaper new from ebuyer.

Yes the 7600 would be better for gaming, especially the 7600GT.

thank you, i am not a heavy gamer so a low-end would be good enough as long as my monitor works hehe.

Exactly! get a 7600GT, I have one right now and although Im getting an 8800GT, the 7600GT has worked wonders. It would easily outperform either 8400/8500.

A mid-high end 7000 series will play games in DX9 better than a mid 8000 series card would on DX10... (or something like that, LOL)

The PCI-E versions will only work in a physical PCI-E x16 slot.
