Do i know if my computer will support a PCI express card

im running a AMD Athlon and i have a Radeon 9550 video card right now

how do i find out if i can run PCI express?
 
1) Open your case and look for a slow like:

2) Look up your motherboard model in Google.

3) Run CPU-Z/PC Wizard.
 
hey if you could find one at compusa or bestbuy that would be great because i got gift cards which equals more spending money
 
well heres what i am thinking...i also need a bit more ram so i go to best buy which i have a 20 dollar giftcard to and i pay 40$ cash for a 512mb stick then i head to compusa with $160
 
Take that back. Go with Newegg... look how horrible their prices are!

GeForce 6200 for $100?! :eek:

FX5500 for $90?

Both are greatly overpriced IMO.
 
lol doubt it...i will ask but if you could just check one more time for a good card for 160 that would be great because i have no clue about video card....some clue actually but when it comes to pricing and what not i dont know
