need a tv

Well I got my ps3 now I want a tv to play the games to there max.

What kinda tv should I get for this? I heard lcd's are better then plasma for video games?

It doesn't have to be a big tv it's going in my room so Iuuno what size but not a big one.

And how much would a good sized and quality one run me?
 
LCD's are usually better than plasma, in all aspects. LCD's tend to be a bit more expensive though. And plasma screens tend to be sold in larger screen sizes.

The PS3 supports 1080p, and TV's that support 1080p are generally more expensive.

The size of the TV you are getting is really based on the amount of money you want to spend.

I don't know about where you live, but in the States, a great place to get a budget priced HDTV is Costco.

I live in Canada and yeah theres costco here to.

Is there a particular small size that would be good for the ps3? I think ive seen some small sized ones for about 700$ or so. It doesn't have to be the BEST out there just have really good graphics when coupled with the console because Im fed up of crt and im getting the panasonic vierra for my living room but I don't wanna mess up the plasma with the console.
 
I'm looking at a $500 32 inch LCD TV from Costco. That is a great deal, obviously it's no big brand but that has never posed a problem for me. This TV doesn't support 1080p though.

Are you going to notice a difference between 1080p and 720p? Honestly, the only difference you might notice is the price difference. 1080p TV's run for a lot more. Unless you have a very keen eye, go with a nice 27 inch - 37 inch TV depending on the size of your room.

Make sure you get a TV with an HDMI port for the best video quality on your PS3.
 
Get either a 26" or 32" Vizio. I paid $450 for my 26" LCD and its excellent. My 360 and PC look great on it, as well as my HD channels.
