Hello all,
It's time for an upgrade and I've finally decided on my mobo and cpu.
For the mobo I'm taking this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130065
and for the cpu it will be the athlon 64 x2 6400+ brisbane.
My question is, is it possible for the motherboard to limit this processors power? Will a front side bus of 800mhz slow the processor down at all?
I know some will say don't get a 75$ board for that processor but I'm settled
. It's already making me ill thinking about how much I'm spending on other components haha.
Should I get something slower? I mean for gaming, will I really notice a difference between the 5000+ and the 6400+ lets say?
