Monitor=DVI-D and Video=DVI-I

My monitor,i'm pretty sure, only accepts DVI-D and the video card i'm looking at(8800GTS) only has plugs for DVI-I. Is there any way around this? Am I overlooking something? or do I have to buy an adapter . Im not that interested in using VGA

DVI-D stands for digital only, DVI-A stands for analog only (with the use of an adapter) and DVI-I stands for integrated (you can output either a digital or analog signal).

Your monitors DVI input only accepts a digital signal and your card can output both. Perfectly compatible.
