anyone widescreen? extra pixels worth the $

Hello, i have a 22inch 1680x1050 that suits me just fine but im thinking of getting something with more pixels so i can use my gfx card (8800gt)to its full potential, i would just use it for gaming and movies so would it be wise to step up to a 2560x1600?



thanks and please post any thoughts you might have about these large pixel count monitors
 
Since you already have the 1680x1050 monitor I would not spend the money to buy an other slightley larger monitor. It will curb performance since the gfx card will ahve to work harder. If you want to spend that money, maybe get another 8800Gt to run SLI or buy some more RAM or buy a new processor. I can think of a lot more ways to spend that money than upgrading an already sufficeint monitor. I also have a 1680x1050 and I enjoy it :) No reason to upgrade
