How do you rate BitDefender Antivirus v10?

Looking for an antivirus program and I keep hearing good reviews on BitDefender Antivirus v10, anyone have any comments? Or recomendations for antivirus software? Not concerned with money, but do want something that is pretty user friendly. TIA
 
i have bitdefender 2008 trial.

i like their icon.... their design are great.

it even tells me when my registry changes.... like when quicktime wants to start at startup.

so far so good.

I just installed the trial and there were 4 viruses that it could not delete. However I do like the way things are setup.
 
Bitdefender 10 is good, i mean the virus detection is, but the interface and the controls baffles me, and the update is not that big.
in my view, BD10 is good
 
I see it also does spyware and malware detection. Does anyone know how that compares to Spyware Dr? Might replace AVG free + Spyware Dr with Bitdefender if it's any good.
 
I think your all right. One thing though. One does not do them all. for spyware and virus ya might as well use the freeware. something else. turn off java scrip controls in options and if you mass email use blindcopy. i think thats about the best you can do. it will eliminate a lot of bs and junk mail.
just a thought.........

'if ya need script controls then just use at trusted sites.
if ya hang out downstairs then turn them off.

Just replaced AVG free and Spyware Dr with Bitdefender Antivirus 2008. Uses a lot less resources and so far seems easy enough to use. It also has a game mode which reduces its usage even more for playing games.
