Well buddy when you talk about gaming computer you need good chip-set and the best is nvedia....
You mean GPU chipset? I think I'd prefer an Intel mobo chipset.
A guy there posted his review:
" Pros: Good board for a good price as far as features....but ASUS must have some real winners programming their BIOS nowadays. See cons section.
Cons: Be ready to do some serious tweaking with this board to make it stable!! I bought this board with an intel Q6600 2.4 ghz processor, and 2G of Patriot Viper DDR2 800mhz low latency RAM (3-4-3-8). The board came with BIOS version 0203, which for me was DOA...board wouldn't POST after restart without clearing CMOS every time. first I tried flashing newest BIOS version (0502)...same problem. I did some reading and found out that for my problem BIOS version 0107 is stable. However, ASUS update and built-in EZ FLash II will not allow flashing out-dated BIOS. Had to find an older version of ASUS update that allowed back-flashing. (ver. 6.10.02) Now the board POSTs every time and runs stable. This BIOS is also very picky with "performance" RAM...be prepared to manually enter in all timings and voltages, especially voltage. I entered timings and left voltage at auto and board wouldn't POST, have to clear CMOS again. now after 3 days of fighting with ASUS techs (no help there... ->"
I'd search for something else![]()
