Gaming PC

Hello everyone.

I want to save up some money to buy a really really great PC for gaming. Usually I buy a $400-$500 computer every 2 years and I always get headaches with the recent games. Playing with bad FPS and horrible graphics has become part of my life.

I'd like to know if anyone could please tell me if you know a website that assembles computers for gaming, or any recommendation would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

$450-around $100 building fee = $300 or so build.

Build it yourself, you save that $100, and get the BEST bang for the buck.

I agree with everyone. Build it yourself and you will save $$$. Also, you will know exactly what parts you have and how you can upgrade. And of course, it's easier than it looks ;)

get at least $1000 for a new machine

I think he can build a decent gaming machine around $600. Although I agree he would need th $1K to play the latest games on high settings, with good FPS.

Alright :) then $1000. Thanks a lot.

Do you know any info source I could check to know what parts I should buy for the computer? I don't want to end up buying an expensive video card that wasn't that good.

Again, thank you very much for the help :)

$1000? Pshhhh... If that's so, then why can my E2140 (3.04GHz) and HD3850 (OC'd to around HD3870) play pretty much every game?

$1000 is overkill like said. Go for $600 or even $500...
