Whenever I get these problems, I navigate to the registry and delete the existing registry entries for iTunes. And do a fresh install.
This is not recommended, but it works for me most of the time.![]()
Uninstall iTunes, and run the registry cleaner CCleaner

Then reinstall. I wouldn't mess with the registries manually.
Maybe iTunes just hates you?
