Which card do you think is the best.

well definately one of the 512 mb ones.

the 640 mb is the older G80 chipset.
the others are G92.

i like the XFX better. i have the XFX 8800GT.

otherwise theres no real difference apart from the BFG being overclocked a tiny bit.
 
With all due respect, why are you running the Phenom and an AMD chipset without a Radeon card? Get the 3870. ;)

Technically, yes. Basically, the 790FX is designed for AMD cards. You can run up to four in Crossfire, for example. With a nVidia card, you're limited to one. Besides, the 3870 is arguably the best value with regard to the so-called price/performance ratio. :D
 
So I guess it will be down to the 2 g92's.

The only difference really between the 2 is that the BFG has the nice lifetime warrenty, but i hear xfx has a good one too. Ive always had xfx so I want to stick with them.

The reason i like nvidia is becase there are 400 cards vs ati's 200 cards. more choice and more upgradability. and who the **** needs 4 cards, or 3. my mobo is good for 4 when the time comes.
 
Both cards are technically and mechanically the same anyway, the only difference is the bundled kit and the warranties. Look at them and you'll see what I mean.
 
Well thats what I'm saying. With those two cards, the only difference is the clock speed. If the BFG has a little better clock speed is it really that much of a differnce if they have the same bit and mb ratio.

plus, from what i can see, they will still do it if its been overclocked.

GTS G92. By lots. Other alternatives:

HD3870/HD3850.
