Buying new Graphic Card.. (step 2)

Ok, i would like a graphic card without a fan, but i guess that's totally out of question in your opinion. So ill go for one with a fan..

I'm thinking 150-250$ for the card, it doen't need to be the latest card. The computer is mainly for graphic work, and some gaming when i have the time.

Also, i have one last question for you experts.. The thing is, i got Asus P5W DH Deluxe (ddr2 motherboard), will that work with a ddr3 card?

well as for the ddr2/3 question. yes it will work. nothing to do with the mobo memory.

i video card w\o a fan isnt completely out of the question, you just cant OC them at all.

its not comparable to the HD3850\3870 performance wise but it will run all the modern games (just not maxed) with a decent FPS, and there is no fan, just a rather large heatsink. if you get it make sure you have room in your case for it!

Why don't you get the passive HD3850? People here shouldn't bitch at you for that, at least until a few months from now when a newer card is out and they all blow their allowance on it and then have to justify their expense by claiming everything else is "crap."
