Just another reason for me to hate Apple. [rant]

Ok, so my friend was searching for some podcasts and she asked me to help. So I install iTunes and seach around finding nothing. A bit later I uninstall it and the next day I go to play a CD only to find that it is no longer working because iTunes changes the CD Drive reg path! If you uninstall iTunes it doesn't change the path back, thus rendering your CD or DVD drive useless. It's been a week now and I still can't get my Drive to work. Every "fix" has failed to fix it. Gunna have to system restore tonight.

Ugh, and besides this my desktop computer managed to screw up enough to give a kernel error on start up. So I've got to reinstall Windows on that computer also.

Unless you plan on bad-mouthing Dell as well, this Thread will be locked, deleted, strung up out back and shot, then burned.

:D

On a side note, and being halfway serious, gotta love the auto-ad software that placed the Ipod banner ;)

I think you might have done something wrong, because I have never had this problem and I have installed many versions if Itunes and many different computer and have taken them off and never had this happen. But with computer hardware you can never be 100 percent sure something is going to mess up.

I agree

I didn't have Vista installed.. I had Windows: X which for those who don't know, it is a Mod that makes Windows XP look like Vista

Na, I just woke up. I had some drivers being downloaded over night so I'm gunna try those later to day.
