first of all,im sry if i posted in the wrong place,i wasnt really sure where to post this problem.
i have 2 LED's on the front of my computer case, a green one with a light bulp drawing beside it, and an orange one with a cylinder drawing beside it.
the problem is that they are constantly lit,no blinking whatsoever,i had this problem since i first bought my computer 2 years ago,pc was formated twice since then,so it isnt the windows xp instalation,which is always up to date and virus-spyware free,and i checked the wires connected in the case,and they are connected properly.
now there are 2 strange situations where only the orange LED starts blinking normally,the first is that on rare ocasions,when i insert a dvd in my Plextor PX-712A,it blinks normally and it stays normal even after i take out the dvd from the drive,then when the pc is turned off or restarted,the LED is back to its constant lit state...the 2nd situation is as follows,i recently installed fedora on my computer,so whenever i boot to fedora,the orange light blniks normally the whole time im on fedora,till ofcourse i boot to windows xp.
so can anyone please tell me what are the normal states for both LED's and how can i get them to act normally,i know some of u may tell me to just let it be,but its driving me crazy.
