This is a mouth full so get ready! Just like to say if im posting this in the wrong thread sorry,it was the only I found right.

Greetings!
Recently I purchased a dell xps 720 h2c,one of highest performance machines out there from dell. I had been using dells all my life so I generally trusted there prices etc. People allways told me "dell sucks" etc. I usually really never listened to people about that becuase I hear people say everything sucks. Well unfortunatly I learned that dell really does rip you off. With custom choices my machine I selected for the 720 h2c,had 4 gigs 2x8800GTX,2.93(ocd to 3.73) q 6800 quad core extreme proccesor and a 680 SLi motherboard. all for a low price of 7k!(moniter included)
Really I wasnt disappionted with the machine at all it performed well on games like Gears of War , Call of Duty 4 ,Crysis (decently on crysis) I was happy then I was toying with the internet one day and found a well known website that sells custom gaming computers.I browsed in and chose the greatest options I can possibly fathom! 3 way sli with 8800 ultras! 9650 extreme proccesor at 3ghz! 4 gigs with heat spreader , liquid cooler , a nice gaming hard drive . I thought to myself "heh this comp will be atleast 10k" all to find out it was 5.8k?! with a 28 inch monitor?
Quick to say I gave dell a nice little call asking to return my PC for a refund, and its possible.:D So basically my question is should I get this new PC i'll list the specs. Tell me if there is anything that is a complete waste of money, somehting that wont work well, something useless , if there is new hardware coming out in the next few weeks. I really dont have much time to find this stuff out and have never been in to all the techs about PC,I know the basics.

Fatality? What is that? thank you for your advice but im not a computer guy and I understand Id save maybe a thousand or so dollars building it my self but I dont have he time for that or the knowledge.

thank you

I'm sorry to have to post this, but aren't there more pressing things you could do with $7k than buy a computer? I have several small business Clients that didn't spend that much total for the entire office.

Maybe you did not read the entire post,I am most likely going to return it.

I did read the entire Post. The fact the the money was spent to begin with is what floored me. Different people = different priorities, though, I suppose.

You recently purchase from dell...When did you bought it.
QX9650 was out in Nov. 780i MB only out recently. It might not be dell fault, just the Hardware moving too fast.
