AMD 6000+ stock cooler

ok ive noticed other people with the same processor as me have large idle temp difference so do processors come with different coolers hears mine is yours the same or different

yeah they are all the same. they are loud large hot heatsinks but thats what we get for not going oem lol
 
Yes you can remove and replace the stock fan, i myself have the 6400+ and i am replacing my stock fan with the Arctic Freezer 64 Pro, relatively cheap and provides alot of bang for the buck i hear! If you want to take it a step further i suggest you buy a Thermal Compound and maybe another case fan.
 
Are those heatpipes? My stock fan looks exactly like that except that little bit of heatsink sticking out the side isn't there and no heatpipes. Just out of curiosity what temps do you idle at?
 
ya buy some zip ties (Wire managment) i would pull that ide cable under the mobo or buy a couple new thin ones,,,, and try to run some of those wires behind your HD tray..it would get you better airflow in a cooler system overall and get a aftermarket cooler!

yes they are heat pipes i idle at 29-34 an about 37-41 at load
im getting a front 120mm fan an im thinking about getting a fan for the side of my case hacve a look at the thread side fan good or not it is something like that an please give me your thourts
 
o i have a 6000+. i did some wire management and i dropped 1 deg. celcious...i idle around 45 load 50-52. i also repositined my case and planning to add an aftermarket heatsink and system fan. OEM means O.riginal E.quipment M.anufacture btw
 
ok ive done a bit of wire management i could not get the ide cable under my mobo it was to short an the other one was a FDD cord i just took my floppy out

i get about 2c decrease for my case temp my vid card idles at 47C now instead of 51C
