what ive done is modded the window and put 3 more 120mm fans on it.
makes a huge airflow.

here's the inside's.
the ram cooler is excellent. lovely blue fans on it when its running.

here's the 3 harddrives with akasa harddrive cooler's.
they make a huge difference. ive got a 120mm fan sucking air out the front from the harddrives. with the cooler's on them the temps dropped by 11 degree's!

Crazy. Thats insane about your HDD fans decreasing temps by 11*, i heard someone on here did a test on those and they actually increased the temp. Who knows.

Gret build though.

i think its a lot to do with the 120mm fan beside them sucking air out. and the 120mm fan on the window that sits above the harddrives blowing air down onto them.

You really have 19 fans?

yeah 19 in total. i spent 2 weeks planning the proper ventallation i wanted for the case. i cant sit beside the comp without a jumper on :D its got fast air flow and its chilly.

^^ Good point.

yeah good point. :D

i like the cpu cooler-look well cool

didnt know which one to go with and i wasnt sure if the blue orb would support quad core, but its performing great and looks amazing :D

That CPU fan is pretty cool.

as above ^^

Thats awesome, the display on the fan.. did it come like that or did you mod it!?

it comes like that. wouldnt have the abilities to make something like that.
only cripe i see is you cant change the text
so im stuck with
thermaltake (temps) and noice level.

More fans doesnt mean its better, with that setup you lose a lot of direction, so the air is scattered among all the components. I would bet you would have lower temps with 1-2 high velocity fans in the front and back.

when i got the case i did a lot of tests with airflow and found the had a few blockages. so i changed the directions of the fans etc.

i had a lot of dead air in the case so thats why there is extra fans here and there to keep it moving. air is brought in from the window side, and sucked out at the top, bottom, front and back.
so far ive had no problems with temps at all and they seem to be holding a lot cooler than usual.

How do u like the lexa cause thats the case im getting for my first build.

love the case. very sleek looking.

and its gorgeous untouched! but i drilled millions of holes in mine for cables :)

the red one is nice, but i think its too wierd looking. dont like the mirror finish one. the blue one that i have with the black face plate is by far the best.
