No anti static bag for Soundcard

Well... specifically antistatic bubble wrap... but if he doesn't have an antistatic bag, why would he have antistatic bubblewrap?
Just stick it in something unlikely to cause static buildup. Wooden wineboxes are a favorite of mine, but cardboard and hard plastic containers are usually pretty safe if you just gotta move it from one place to another. Glass, metal, plexiglass, and ceramic should all be pretty safe as well, although maybe a bit harder to find. Really, the only thing I can think of to definitely avoid would be any type of cloth and plastic bags, pretty much anything else should be fine for short term.
Make a habit of saving the bags everytime you get a new part... they come in handy.

Don't be a smartass where it isn't due. Somehow, methinks if he didn't have an antistatic bag, but he had antistatic bubble wrap, he MIGHT be able to crank out a solution.

LOL if your Mr. I know ****ing everything, why didn't you reply to his post! Also it was for future ref... can get loads of pink stuff and it costs next to nothing.

I've had a sound card, that i took out my old rig about 8/9 months ago. It's not been in any bag and i've put it on my carpet and bed covers (Bad i know). Then i put it in my new PC because my other sound broke. It still works!
I think i was just lucky though.
Yeah iv done stuff like that before with grocery bags. I had a ridiculas amount of pci-e cards that were going to be throw out at work. I put em in a regular plastic bag. I think the humidity also has something to do with it. Iv heard the more humid it is the harder it is for the static charge to build. Its at least 85% humidity around here all the time. I pay attention when I handle more expensive items tho.
