transform crappy comp into server

Im considering to make my old piece of crap comp into a server at home. How much and what will it take to do that?

Well what are the specs of the computer you plan on doing this to? It will need some ram and such, but its only gonna be as fast as the computer itself.

Not unless you want to make it into a game server or a huge file/music server.

Well if you want it to be a music server you'll need a large hard-drive. Otherwise the computer only needs a eithernet port and it'd be all good.
