Cheapest CS:S Rig

No need for an OS.
Those 2 from oscaryu1 and reddevil6 were great. MIR are a pain in the ass, but I think they might work.

I would still suggest dropping to 1 GB of ram and upping the graphics card to the 7600GS. A 7300 just is not a gaming card, you'd be very dissapointed. Plus, you can always get more ram later one as it's dirt cheap.

I added the rebate for the memory :rolleyes:

Doing that will just decrease the price by $10 or so.
 
If your going to get an AGP card i would tell you to go online on ebay or something get like a 6600gt or a 6800 gt or something. those cards are better than the 7 series

Umm it's a $35 rebate...don't know where you're deducting the $10..

AGP's dead already, nobody building a new computer will use it. Either way, the 7600GT is still a very nice AGP card.

I mean that I added the RAM price after the rebate. So $22 instead of $50 or whatever.

The RAM price after the rebate is much better than your memory...
