as stated, i currently have the msi k9a2 platium and decided to go with nvidia instead of ati. so is there any sli motherboards for my phenom agena?

Like Asrock? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157125

That was one of two models found with nForce chipsets. One ATI driven model sees a total of 4 PCI-E 16x slots for dual Crossfire but that was an Asus board there. Try other vendors for AM2+ SLI capable boards since newegg only has the other Asrock model with an nForce chipset with only one PCI-E slot seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157124

Neither of those boards are AM2+ boards, it just a nforce 6150/7050 and with a bios updated. It has the same features as everyother AM2 board. There a few boards that are advertised as AM2/AM2+ that are no more than AM2 boards with a bios update. The only true AM2+ boards that are out right now are the AMD 700 series chipsets. Untill Nvidia releases theres 750a and 780a next month supposely.

Not untill Nvidia releases there 750/780a chipsets for AM2+ The way it looks so far none of the AM2 boards will run a Phenom worth a crap even with a bios update. If you want to change over it would be better to wait till nvidia releases there new AM2+ chips

I wouldn't be touching any Asrock boards to begin with being that those are at the bottom of the barrel for quality. With AMD having bought out ATI would you expect to see SLI or Crossfire boards first with AMD cpus used?

Is it every time that PC eye posts that someone else has to have the later say?

Because the poster asked if there was any SLI AM2+ boards and as of right now theres not. A AM2 SLI board with a bios update is not a AM2+ board. And on top of that neither link was even a SLI board. It seems your starting to support giving people false information by not correcting a statement that was by one member:confused:. If I make a wrong statement I expect to be corrected and not be upset by it instead of arguing a incorrect statement into the ground just not to admit I,m wrong. Say you left the post as it was and this poor guy goes and buys a AM2 Asrock board thinking it was a AM2+ just to find out later he was given false info. If theres something about my post thats not true please tell me!

Again you missed the point being made there. Even with only a bios update to see support for the AMD quad core models the only boards seen were Crossfire not SLI capable models with AMD not NVidia nForce chipsets. When the HT 3.0 SLI models are finally out expect the price tags to be up around $300 or more initially.

I didnt miss anything, your not even on the boat. You make a wrong post them make another one to defend it, your really out there willing to defend anything you say incorrect with complete rubbish. You want to come at me you better get your facts straight. If you put as much effort into learning something about facts instead of defending wrong statements you might by a slim chance gain knowledge.
