no video

hey guys, i have an old P4 that i cleaned out inside the case the other day, in doing so i think i broke the graphics card, so i got another cheap one.
the problem is that i still have no video when i turn on the computer.
i turn on the computer and everything seems to be working fine (no beeping from the motherboard, fans spinning, everything operational) but nothing comes up on the monitor.
the motherboard is a gigabyte P4titan 667 w' dual bios

I have disconnected everything and then made sure it was all back together but still the same problem, it was working fine before i cleaned it out.

can anybody think of what could be wrong?

Reseat your RAM. Did you happen to discharge yourself before cleaning out the case?

Did you spray water/fluids inside?
 
No, the cable is fine, works on the other computer fine
I didn't spray anything in the case, just got the vacuum in there to get a bit of dust out.
how do you reset your ram? i took it out, turned on the comp, turned it off and reput it in, no differnece.

just to let you know, before you press the power button make sure you let your monitor warm up(turn it on and leave it for like 5-10 seconds). i dont know what to do for your problem. just letting you know so you dont miss anything when you turn it on. just check the cables and everything. try different things.

i have had the computer on for about 10 mins and still nothing, so plenty of time for the monitor to warm up

Trying reseating your GFX too. If you have onboard video, take the GFX out and try using that.
 
no, still nothing.
i know this is a common problem, i work at a school and we have about 4 computers in the same situation,
what else can it be
 
ok i bet u weren't discharged before u cleaned it, u must of touched some ic's and messed it up. you should try to use different memory, if not that then your motehrboard is messed up.
 
yer i could have been that i wasnt discharged.
its not the ram as i have taken the ram out and turned it on, i should have atleast got a screen or beep if i turned on the comp without any ram in it
