Antec 900 for newbies?

How bright are the LED lights for the Antec 900? I'm curious how much blue I would be seeing at night when I'm in bed going to sleep, with my lights off but the computer still on. :)
 
The lights aren't really that bright, IMO. The noise of the fans might interfere with your sleep.

I've heard that fans manufactured by Nexus aren't as loud. I've never used them, though. The noise is mainly due to the total amount of fans. You'll also have a CPU fan that, depending on the model, will create a fair amount of noise as well.

Geez, of all the PC components I have to choose, I never expected to be so hung up on the case! This is pretty much all I have left besides the mobo, but even that seems easier to pick than this!

I think my problem is that I want, naturally, a quiet case, but I also feel like I need some kind of "gamer" case, but really, I'm not *that* much of a gamer. My big components will be the E8400 and the 8800GTS (G92), and I guess for some reason I keep thinking I need a super case to handle these things.

I've started thinking that maybe cases that are completely enclosed, without side vents or mesh, etc. (such as the P182) won't be good for me, but I think I might be wrong about that. I'm sure any type of case will be fine, I just keep finding little reasons to doubt myself (the Centurion reviews mention several times that the power button shorts, or falls off! Otherwise this seems like I nice-looking case.)

::sigh:: Decisions! :)
 
There's a number of people here at CF that own the 900 and have it in their bedroom. It would be interesting to see if the noise affects their sleep - those that leave it running all night, anyway.
 
With the included fans, one additional for the side cover, and the 110mm on the Zalman 9700 you could sleep without worry. The 900 here is certainly quieter then the old case by a long shot.

In a dark room the blue leds would actually dimmer then the typical nite light you have pugged in. You would see a blue glow to some degree but that's about it. With the Antec multicolor fans those look like rainbow colors being reflected onto the fan's blades.

Except that I don't sleep with a night light. :) Or any kind of light, for that matter. Which is why I figure I might notice it somewhat.
 
It depends on where your case is in relation to how your room is arranged. If the case is pointing right at you while being across the room you would get accustomed to that fast and not even notice it.

That also depends on where you live as well. For someone living in a rural area with a small population every little thing stands out while being in a metro you see and hear just about anything day or night.
