adding ram?

i bought a dell inspiron 530 from walmart. i added a 8600gt card and it works great with cod4 and all other applications. But I want to add 1 more gig of ram to it, it has 2 gig of 667 mhz ram right now. should i do away with that and get 3 gig of ram with a higher mhz rating or should i just add 1 more gig of 667 mhz ram, or can i add 1 gig of higher mhz and leave the 2 gig of 667 mhz?

u can get another ram chip of a higher MHz an it will work, but it will only run at 667

thanks, so will upgrading all 3 to a higher mhz really make a difference or should I not worry about it and just go with 667?

na it wont make a diffrence because it will still only run at 667.
