Geoff VIP Member Feb 28, 2008 #2 First of all, it's illegal to connect to someone elses network if you need to bypass their security. If you already have a broadband modem and WiFi in your house/apartment, then why don't you use that?

Click to expand... sorry about that i dident know it was illegal.. i have a wireless usb modem and only have 5 gig of useage per month and it would of been nice to access via a different modem..

Click to expand... I see what your saying, but there are lots of places with free WiFi, such as coffee shops, laundry mats, restaurants, etc.
