Not sure about that, I cant find the spec for his laptop but im pretty sure its gonna be an onboard graphics chip, in which case you've got no chance of replacing unless your an expert in soldering.

That is the typical video error beep... I can't ever recall hearing it from a laptop, though.
As others said, you could probably replace the GPU if you look around hard enough. Assuming your particular laptop has a dedicated/removable GPU of some sort, there might be a GPU you could get off ebay to swap out. However, you must be sure it's made to work specifically with your laptop.
Do you have any idea what your GPU was originally? Intel GMA? Radeon Mobility? Nvidia Geforce?
