I want to delete some files ...

but I keep getting the message that I cannot delete because they are being used by another program.
Seems like they are being used by MS DOS, and I remember there's a procedure for this type of problems, but forget the details.
Does anyone know how to delete those files anyway?

(they are files of antispyware software I downloaded on the desktop instead of program files directory)

Move on boot will be sure to do the trick, pretty easy to use, and it's one of those programs you can use and throw out easy.

Kent.

Thanks, I used the recommended program and it worked.

I wouldn't know how to boot in safe mode or MS DOS anyway so I'm glad this solution worked. Sounds easy judging from your posts here, and I'm sure I'm gonna need it some time in the future again, so if you people don't mind dropping few details about that - I'd appreciate it! :o
If not, thanks anyhow.

reboot, and tap the 'F8' key. finally a menu will come up. your options are there.Boot to windows in safe mode or the dos prompt.

Lol the software is like easier to use because it does it all itself.
I really prefer manually, dunno why, I just trust my mind and hands more than some softwares.
Oh btw, you had some viruses on your comp ha zarfy?
Nice!

I would agree with you game, but you must agree it's easer for both parties to give a quick software answer, then for a long and tedious guide.

hello fellow countryman! ;)

so yes, using software is easier, and I think that when learning how to perform some actions manually it's best if you have someone to show you how, because of higher chances of screwing things even more and not being able to repair the damage? don't know, might just be prejudice ...

and in fact I don't think I had any viruses at all, it just came to me yesterday to run some tests against spyware and then I also remembered of programs for registry cleaning. Forgot about that for years. It turned out I had about 360-ish invalid registry entries.
Errr, is that a lot?

WHAT's
?

thanks to tremmor for answering my question :)
