Does anyone know if this card will run on a Dell Dimension E521?

XFX PVT73GUGE3 GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card?
 
It seems to have a PCIe x 16 expansion slot, so it will physically fit. There remains the question of amperage on the 300w power supplies +12v rail. You can find this rating on the sticker on the side of the PSU. A 7600gt recommended amperage is 18amps, but I'm sure it would run on say 16, easier if the PSU was quality, which i'll doubt as it's stock dell.

The 7600GT is really easy on the PSU. If you have a quality PSU then it would probably work just fine. I'm not sure how the quality of standard case Dell's PSUs are, though.

true dat. I ran mine off a 250w PSU, low amperage rating to boot! It was only for two weeks, I wouldn't have tried my luck any longer, but it worked perfectly under load that entire time.
