Can I use this Ram

I have 2 Gigs of the following Ram:

I want to increase my ram from 2 to gigs and I have a spare stick of Kingston ram listed here:

Can I add the Kingston Ram to my system without any issues or performance loss?

I don't see why not.

You would loose the benefit of dual channel, however, if you get another 1GB Kingston stick, you will regain dual channel. It will work together however.

I want to put 4 gigs in but windows xp home will not recognize anything above 3

It will recognize some of it, 3.14GB perhaps, id do it just for the performance increase of Dual Channel. I ran XP Home on 3GB RAM and I had 3.42GB RAM usable.

I have 4 gigs in my xp home and rcognizes 3.5

I would check the timings and also the recommended voltages of the two different rams .It's not a good idea to mix different ones together.
