processor: p4 3.0ghz 800 mhz fsb socket 775
chipset: 915g
mobo:ASUS name: PTGD1-LA HP name: Grouper-GL8E
memory: 184 pin, DDR1-400 SDRAM (most likely going to be upped to 2gb from 512kb)
hdd: 200 GB Ultra DMA 7200 rpm sata
graphics: integrated
psu: 300 watts (how big does this need to be?)

i have one 16x pci express slot so i was thnking maybe a 9600gt? or maybe a 9800 ultra or gtx when(if) they come out?

Hm not really BUT that cpu isn't bad at all.

The hdd is good to.

DDR1 is old and expensive and not worth it.
 
Ah gotta try the game. Just came out right or this week?

Hm well I know your cpu can play the game no problem and the hdd is more then enough room to install it.

It's the ram that's gonna be a problem, Im not so sure it's gonna run right with DDR1 though I may be wrong.

The integrated graphics are gonna be a problem that's for sure but you can get a gpu to add in the pci slot.

$37.99/1gb of it and kanes wrath is coming out monday for pc and june 10th or something like that for 360 and i did manage to play tiberium wars for about a half hour once i beat a skirmish and then it closed saying it encountered some error blah blah blah im able to play it on my grandmas laptop no problem 1.7 ghz athlon 64 x2, nvidia 6100 go, 1 gig of ram

Actually that's a good deal on the ram though Ive never heard of the company 37$ isn't much to lose any how and it's compatible.
 
yeah, she was kinda pissed off at wally world so she bought a new laptop instead of a desktop :P the laptop only cost her something like 500 bucks for it? i think i might convince her to upgrade the ram to 2 gigs

yeah that computer isn't worth it man sorry. The P4 was good but is now obsolete and the memory like mentioned is just too old.
