I'm looking to upgrade the RAM on my cousin's computer. All that they will be running are those crappy educational type games for their kids so they aren't looking for anything to great, just 512MB. Here's what they are running:

Intel Pentium III Processor
597 MHz, 128 MB of RAM

Please post links.

Thanks!

Download cpu-z and tell us what ram it says the pc has on the SPD tab. Tell us what clock it is and what pin it is. Most likely it is 184pin and pc3200 but just make sure.

Here's a better link for CPUz. http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz_144.zip

Most likely it's PC100 (or 133) and 168pin. Via's Apollo chipset is the only one I can think of that supports DDR for the pentium 3.

You took the words out of my mouth.:)
