S-video and Audio?

I'm shopping for a S-VIDEO TO RCA CABLE to connect my notebook display to my television. I'm told that S-video does not carry audio. I've seen cables that have both s-video and audio cables together http://www.svideo.com/7svto3rca.html

But I've also seen cables that are S-video TO 3 RCA (yellow, red, white) with no headphone cable, like this one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/7-Pin-S-Video-To-3-RCA-RGB-TV-HDTV-Adapter-for-Laptop_W0QQitemZ130207978905QQihZ003QQcategoryZ109861QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

What's the deal? How does the RCA audio cables (white and red) get the audio?

OK you need a cable to go from your laptop to RCA Yellow, Red + White.....
Red and white are audio
Yellow is vision.....

Also the ebay link is good and should work fine...

what sort of tv do you have???

Neither plasma or LCD, according to my roommate, it's "a regular f*ing TV." I guess my question is, if S-video doesn't carry audio how does that cable (the one without the headphone jack) carry the audio? Is that the difference between a 4-pin and 7-pin S-video?

If you want sound go for the 7 pin one because the 4 pin will not carry sound.
