Hey guys, im building my first pc and i just want to know what you guys think about my selected components from newegg, and any advise you have please.

Ps. Im going to use my old G-force 7300Le 256mb for my gpu, and the PSU that comes with the case is a 20 pin connector, my mobo is 24, do you think the PSU has a 24 pin extension? if it dosent tho i have an extra 375w 24 pin PSU that i can use.

Please help..Thanks

Personally, I hate the case, but that's just me;)

Seriously though, everything matches up and looks decent. I must at least shamelessly plug this CPU HSF though: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835150083. Remove the stock pad and toss on some AS-5 and it will out-perform several units 3x's the price. It keeps my Pentium D 'oven' at a cool 31*C Idle and 44*C Load. Might want to read the reviews and look into it.

Edit: Welcome to CF and good luck with the 1st Build! Be sure to post up with any questions you have - most folks round here are excellent with helping out.

Just get a centurion 5 instead of that xion, get a real power supply, i probably would cut on the mobo and rather get a gigabyte p35dr3l which is about 50$ cheaper and those 50$ could go into a E6550 which would be a better choice than the E4500 you have.

Now for the ram, well you don't need a fancy looking ram like that to be good plus the speed increase isn't that much, just get like this g.skill

Or this corsair

For the cooler i would rather go with the arctic freezer 7 any day

Ok i switched the case that you recommended as well as the CORSAIR Ram, im not sure about the Cpu yet but i added this PSU

Any more suggestions?

And thanks for the help

that's a bad power supply, if you want a cheap one just get a cooler master 430w or something like that, check the power supply and section ceewei1 guide he has what brands are bad for power supplies and also recommendations
