I have an hp computer with a q6660 and plan on putting all the components in a new case. I then plan to upgrade the video card and power supply. I was wondering if it was possible to overclock the q6660 through the bios on the hp or would i have to purchase a new motherboard. the mobo is an Asus IPIBL-LA

So i can learn why wouldn't I be able to do it through the hp's bios?

The hp bios and mobo prob doesnt support or let you change anything but, you could try. Just enter your bios and see if you can.

Actually a few manufacturers use full BIOS'. My dad's Mesh has a P5N-E SLi will the full BIOS for example. Even Phillips let you overclock to a degree because of an ECS board in my grandparents machine.
