i would personally get the faster 1200 of 2 gigs, can always add another slab later...

and oh, didn't realize the denmark with shipping issue.
 
I'm assuming the Q9450 is either unavailable in Denmark, or you can't afford it, or both. :D In that case, the Q9300 is okay, although the Q6600 is arguably the better chip. It has more cache and a higher multiplier.

DDR2 800 is fine until DDR3 becomes the norm. Diduknowthat suggested an additional hard drive - I agree. When you have the money, purchase a 500 GB model.

You're right about both with the Q9450. hehe. But can't I not just overclock the Q9300 to run as a Q9450 ?

You can easily get to the stock speed of the Q9450 (2.66 GHz), but you lose half the cache (Q9450 = 12 MB; Q9300 = 6MB). The Q6600 has 8MB of cache and would definitely reach a higher OC due to it's 9X multiplier.
