Explorer 7 add-ons not working

This is driving me crazy now. I cant get Internet Explorer 7 to use the add-ons, I have gone into the settings enabled and disabled all of them a few times and still I cant get them to work. I have all the current updates for XP but for some ungodly reason I can not get it to work at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling explorer as well.

I use Explorer for one thing and one thing only...........to check my friends server for any issues other than that I refuse Explorer.

any ideas on how to fix this because I cant get into the server

Firefox?? :o:o
 
When I need to use IE I use an add on for firefox called IE tab, just opens whatever version of internet explorer you have in a new FF tab.

Cool - i just added it in.

For accessing my school e-mail i had to use IE 7 because it wasn't working properly in firefox. (That's what the school recommends) so i can use the IE add-in for that.
