Artifacting?

If you have issue with what a member says, by all means, correct the line of thought. Resorting to these discrediting attacks are bullshit, IMO. What's the count now, three threads? I don't know how you solve problems at that forum you link to, what with the professed ridicule and all, but we're alittle friendlier hereabouts.

It's like you said in another thread. In a forum, we want an effort from members to help to the best of their abilities. Let's all aim for more helping, less douchery.

Hey mate, I really don't care what you think. This guy is a hack, and is dangerous to the unsuspecting people that seek advice. It’s a bit rich, for you to come on the end of this thread claim righteousness. Now i apologise if this seems harsh, but you took me by suprise. I have no need to "discredit" him, as he does that well by himself.

I agree he drew me unintentionally into an argument well; I will look out for that in the future on this forum. I suggest you monitor his advice though...

Swell opinions. But let's try not to clutter up the thread with meaningless banter, shall we? My points are simple, if you got some sort of beef with a member, take it up in PM. I don't like wading through shit to get down to it, public forum be damned, and I'm sure Op's the world over would agree.

Nothing i have said has been anything short of factand in the best interest of the OP, so, if you wish to take sides, please do so, but in the interest of a fair and balanced forum, please also address this to oscaryu1. I think if you review the thread you will see that it is oscaryu1 that you should be refering your grief with.

STFU about oscaryu1. He has an excellent reputation here at CF, and has shown a great deal of compentence in the areas in which he posts.

See pic attached best explanation. Btw, I don't actually see anything wrong with the original pic posted by the OP??? Btw elitehacker, do you even know what you are talking about? Open the case if it is not software, and what? Dance around with the side of the case, in a northerly direction, at midnight with a dove’s feather in your hair? COD4 was released after Crysis, and the 7900 is power sucking beast, so if it anything, it is a power issue.... but I cannot see any problems in the OP's pic.

this is artifacting btw

If you have bothered to read ALL my responses you will have found that I suggested he open his case and clean his 7900GT's heatsink and fan because heat is nearly always the cause of artifacts. I do not see the need to repeat what I said earlier so that's why I just say then open your case, any reasonable person who had read this thread from the beginning will be able to infer that I mean open the case and clean his card.

Also, maybe you need to get your eyes checked, how can you NOT see the HUGE cut in the middle of the picture. I have seen that type of artifacting numerous times and that is usually because the Core has been overclocked too much. The type of artifacting that you showed is typical of memory overclocks, it usually happens when you overclock your graphics card memory too far.

Indeed COD4 is released later than Crysis, but that does not mean that it is more hardware intensive than Crysis. COD4 can be played on lower level systems, I can tell the difference because I can MAX out COD4 with AA and AS enabled on my 512MB 8800GTS graphics card while I can only manage HIGH settings and 2X AA for Crysis.

From experience, power is usually linked with random restarts and lock ups, it does not generally cause artifacts.

Please read thread from the beginning before resorting to personal slandering.

Getting back on track, Cab00se you should check your computer for ventillation problems and the like to see if that fixes the problem. If not, then its probably time to upgrade, I made that decision Jan of this year to the 512MB 8800GTS and I can't be happier.

I also apologize for my bad behavior. BigFella, I am sorry if I caused you any inconvinience. I also want to apologize to the thread poster for ruining his thread.
