Help Building Gaming Desktop

Hi! I am thinking of buying a desktop for gaming but I am not toooo good with computers. I have some knowledge but not a lot! I have been on a few custom build websites but I am unsure what parts I should buy. I have looked at a few sites but I found Vadim a bit too pricey and pcspecialist ok but unsure of the quality. I have about £700-£800 to spend and would like a dual or quad core, preferably 4 gigs of RAM and a decent gfx card(s) if possible! Any suggestions on parts/websites? Like I said, I put together a decent enough rig on pcspecialist with quad core, 4 gig RAM, 1 gig gfx etc but due to my inexperience, I thought I would find some help first!! Thanks a lot!!! Ben

How much is that in USD?

Which website would you be planning on using?
Will you be doing any video editing or redering? 4Gb of ram is alot 2gb Ddr2 800mhz should do just fine.
What games are you planning on playing?
Will you be doing any overclocking?
Will you be using more then 4 sata ports at any one time?

Once you answer these questions i can start posting up a build for you. :)

£800 in USD is $1595 but prices here in the UK may be more expensive..

I am unsure on website but perhaps www.pcspecialist.co.uk or www.vadim.co.uk? I am not too sure if its good! Any suggestions?
Yes I will be doing video editing, 2 gigs might be ok but 4 if possible
Lots of games! E.g. Oblivion, BF2142, Medieval 2, COD4, Rainbow Six Vegas and anything new coming out! Would like it to be a quick computer for a fair amount of time if possible!
No overclocking I don't think
Don't think I will use more than 4 sata ports

Would also like a 500 gig HDD too, (maybe more) for media..

Thanks for your help!!!!!!!! Ben

I'd say this is a good build.
But i forgot to ask if u needed a monitor, os, keyboard, speakers, mouse. :(
The video card is a bit overkill but you are going to get some awesome FPS in these games. :)

Hope this helps. :)
