Heatsink

What's a good heatsink to cool a 2.66Ghz Core 2 Quad? And I want it to be a good cooler even if it's overclocked like .4Ghz. I know most of you will probably tell me to go with liquid cooling, but I'm building this for a friend and he wants nothing to do with liquid cooling.

I was thinking the Thermalright IFX-14, but that ****er's huge and I want to try and get something easier to work with.

looks a little expensive for the performance.
either the tuniq tower, scythe infinity or the arctic freezer 7 (generates a little more noise) would perform much better and are more silent.

It takes a little more then the cpu cooler used to see lower cpu temps. If your case lacks good air flow that means the board temps are higher then seeing cpu temps higher as well.

For the 6000+ X2 I simply went with the Zalman CNPS 9700 when putting everything into an Antec 900 model case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118019

On one old build here the upgrade of hardwares saw temps soar. While having the Zalman 9500 model on it made no difference since the old case lacked any good air flow seeing a board temp of 48C! Once everything was moved into a case seeing a 140mm front intake and rear 120mm case fans the board temp dropped down to 31C. The cpu being 46C then was seeing 33C.

Alright then, thanks guys. No more help is needed, unless you can provide a link to a heatsink that is better or as good for the same price, and is on newegg.

That tuniq looks really huge, and I read reviews and it's complicated to install. It apparently is also very noisy, and my friend is all against noise.
