Upgrade time

So the time is almost upon us. I iwll be upgrading soon. My current choices are :

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16819115037 (I don't plan on overclocking, BTW)

MOBO:http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16813128082 (I like the energy saver design) or this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128059 (it seems a good solid board)

RAM:http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16820231166 (anyone hear of problems with this RAM and Gigabyte boards?)

The GPU, DVD, etc. will be those from my sig.

Feel free to critique and/or make alternate suggestions.

I have the P35-DS3R and it's awesome.! :D
My cousin has the P35-DSRL great if your not going to overclock or need more then 4 sata ports at once.

The processor is a good choice, unless you want to wait and spend more on the Q9450 or wait for the new socket from intel to come out. :P

Watch your mouth! The P35-DS3L is a great overclocker. I have its cousin, the P31-DS3L. I doubt a "not going to overclock" board can get from 1.6GHz to 3GHz+

OK, so because the latency is lower, it can cycle faster?

So would 4, 1gb sticks of CAS 3 be better then 2, 2gb sticks of CAS 4?
