...and its starting to get hot out!

Living in Sunny California our temps today were just about 90 Degrees F.

I need to find a better way to cool my computer. After some gaming playing BF:2:) my CPU temps were at 50C...Really is that a bad thing considering its 70 Degrees F out?

or do I need to look at getting a better case fan that pulls more air out?

Thanks!

It was a horrible 93 degrees here in NC yesterday, but the PC remained the same temperature inside, which has made me very comfortable with the computers cooling. Zalman make excellent case + CPU fans.

Id recommend Zalman Intake and Exhaust fans and maybe a Zalman processor fan, that should cool the full PC down.

Are most AMD CPU's with the heatsink and fan I have receiving these temps....

Its at 34C at idle and I just turned my comp on this morning!:o

I use the same heatsink as you, for the processor. My processor idles at 38C, goes to 47C in games.

I know that I may be hijacking a little but since on the subject what is the diff from board temp and the cpu tem; say one 33c and other 50c; won't jack again, thanks.

Are you getting these readings from speedfan?

Yeah, I was always wondering what core temp meant compared to CPU temp. My guess that core temp was the motherboard temp?
