Has anyone heard anything about Grand Theft Auto IV ben released for pc?

I know theyre releasing it soon for Ps3 & 360 but i hope they bring out a pc version.
 
no word as of now of a pc port. but all the previous gta games were ported to the pc after almost a year after its initial release.
 
I really hope so, I am a huge GTA Fan and I don't want to get a console for one game :). I hope it does come to PC, if not, id say they're cutting out a big chunk of the games market.
 
ohh man i hope it doesnt take a year :mad:

this game looks so much better than San anderas though,from what ive seen from trailers.
 
Probably be released according to their financial year, (gta 4 being launched at start of
the fiscul year) if it sales really well on the ps and xbox expect to wait a year, if not as good sales then 6 months thats my view

actualy i like all the cars in the GTA series,I liked how in San andreas you could mod the cars and stick some nice rims on them. :D
 
From what I have seen, on one of the screenshots, one car actually looks like an old design Honda Odyssey Minivan?

My favourite GTA was GTA Vice City, as San Andreas has some weird bug on high end cards.

Ah, not 7 months :(, I can't wait that long also :(!!! 7 months of driving around San Andreas (i'm 100% complete) Some of the features on GTA San Andreas just make me laugh, such as putting in the car fly cheat, standing on some dudes car, and shooting it, then it flies and you parachute off. Good fun.
 
Apparently there will DEFINITLEY be a PC release - they have to basically remake to suit the PC (which hopefully should mean improved graphics - as it did in SA)
The whole GTA franchise started out on PC, so its a big cock up if they dont relase it! Plus, the amount of PC gamers is more than both PS3 and xbox360 gamers put together! Anticipate a release, but not for a while as you guys said :(
 
you just know im gonna mod the hell out of the new cars when people start making mods for it :D

put lambos in it and ferraris:D

Sure about that? Consoles not only appeal better to the mainstream, for they are utterly cheap and (mostly) without maintenance. I would think console gamers are in the majority, by far. There is also the piracy issue. What, 40% of all games are pirated? Grand Theft Auto would be an even sweeter title to target, so Rockstar has motivation to keep the PC version as long the shelves as possible.

This isn't even mentioning the fact Rockstar is working with a totally new game engine in IV. They took a year each to get 3 subsequent games to the market, and they were all using the same engine, in stands to reason this iteration might take even longer than GTA's of the past. :(
 
you know id have to say my favorite was GTASA, i always liked the fact i could cruise in a boat, pimp my ride so to speak, and get the ladies lolz, but then again i play mostly PC based games such as WoW, Guild Wars, BF2, CS,TF2, and etc....not many console games and only played GTASA on console.
 
Damn I can't wait! The amount I need to spend on graphics card and ram upgrades would buy me a 360 or even a ps3 though, it's really tempting now! Average PC's were always ahead of the equivalent console in the past which encouraged me to spend my money, but the ps3 and 360 are so good, must resist...
