Anybody got Gran Turismo 5 prologue

is this game any good is it worth buying eventhough it is on the pricy side and hows the online play is it laggy or no
 
GT5 Ptologue is good, but the driving dynamic is much more realistic than any other game out there methinks, the cars react oddly compared to GT4, the cars are excellent (i.e. proper sounds) but the menu system is a bit too intense for my liking.
 
PS3 only, it'll never come out for the PC or in fact any other console because Sony is the publisher. Shame really but it's just one more reason to get a PS3 I suppose.

Agreed. It's very difficult compared to the other versions. I've been playing the free demo, as the full version is supposed to be released later this year, or early next year.
 
oh ok

anybody try gt5 prologue online i looked at review at gamespot.com and they said it was laggy online so im not sure if they gonna fix some of those issues or not imma still get the game tho and see how much i like it myself.

umm i was wondering are you able to upgrade your cars not talking about modifying them just upgrade them put like a turbo kit in there and upgrade the horsepower?
 
I hate it how they make games 'realistic' and boast about it. It's a game, I just want a good driving model, something fun. Cars go round corners at 50mph, any car will, but you find Le-mans cars don't in GT games, it's irritating.

NFS 2 up until the one before the current one had great driving models, easy to drive but quite tough to really master. GT4 just wan't satisfying enough, it felt like the car wasn't actually on the road somehow... Maybe GT5 is better, I haven't played it, but other games have caught up now so I don't feel compelled to buy a ps3 like I did with a ps2 and gt4.

I purchased the game over the weekend. It's definitely worth buying, IMO. You can upgrade and modify your cars after you complete the A, B and C events. When racing online, there is a little lag when approaching a corner with several other cars, but overall, the online play is very good. It's also the best way to win money. The payscale is larger in the online events.

I'm glad I decided to purchase the game now as oppossed to waiting for the full version. It's a lot of fun. :D
 
which ones realer

gtr2 or gran turismo 5 prologue? and i mean graphic wise

and how many cars are in gtr2 i got gt5 prologue now looks pretty decent is forza better or is gran turismo 5 prologue better? and im not comparing cars cuz when gt5 come out it might have more then enough cars

I've only played Gran Turismo 5. The game is very realistic and the graphics are stunning.
 
GTR2 or LFS!! LFS has about 20cars but is more realistic than GTR2. But with GTR2 you can have as many cars as you want. You can download more cars off of any site and just drag and drop! I got about 60cars and each have about 20 different setups and skins!
 
dark spots cant see on godfather game

i didnt want to post a whole new thread so i decided to post it here my is there anything i can to to make it so i can see dark spots on my television when playing the godfather dons edition game it has many dark areas with very little lighting and i oftentimes cant see where im going and stuff when i had ps2 version i didnt have this problem so much but now with ps3 its big time not being able to see is my settings off or something to where dark spots wont show up good on my tv? anybody else having these issues?
 
haven,t had chance to play online yet but graphics on this game are amazing but theree is a lack of events and i feel the game will not last long
