So far I love my new Fujitsu laptop. Performance, quality, everything is so much better than my old HPs. However, I have noticed a rather odd problem.
Sometimes when I come back, I find the laptop says it's "Plugged in, not charging", while the battery sits at anywhere between 90-99%. Many people say this is to prevent overcharging and such. Besides Lithium batteries having built-in circuitry to do this, the laptop is now stating it's "Fully charged" at 100%. Some people say this is an issue with Vista. Honestly, I don't believe it is seeing as the problem also occurs in suspend. Perhaps I'm wrong, but wouldn't any charging.
This really isn't a problem as I've never really needed the full 100% of battery life. Yes, it seems to have an adverse affect on the life, but only when it doesn't full charge. When I get to 100%, I still get around 3 hours out of it.
