Title says it all. Looking for some new ddr3 to go with my new evga 790i ultra sli.
I was about to order 4 gigs of this CORSAIR 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
but it's out of stock as of this morning, and no ETA has been posted by newegg.
So, now I'm looking at 4 gigs of this instead OCZ Reaper HPC 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Main difference (besides price, which is actually comparable) is CAS timings. The OCZ is running 6-6-6-18 while the Corsair is way up to 9-9-9-24. That has to be significant, especially at this kind of memory speed, 1333. So, just wondering if anyone has any comments about this memory or why I shouldn't get it.
For reference...
evga 790i ultra sli
q6600
2X palit 8800 gt 1 gig sonic's (thats 2 gigs of vram with a huge factory OC)
700w OCZ power supply
Thanks.
